Linda Edna Cardellini's parents include businessman Wayne David Cardellini and Lorraine (Hernan). They were born in Redwood City in California. She is Italian (from paternal grandsons), Irish (from a mother), German and English. Linda was the youngest child of four in San Francisco Bay, California. As a teenager her interest in acting after she was a singer during a Christmas production at school. Her school involvement continued with plays and theater for the community. Linda attended Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. After she graduated, Linda had to choose between moving into New York or Los Angeles and study theater. When she graduated, she had to decide whether or not to pursue television and film in Los Angeles. Linda was initially cast as a character on Bone Chillers (1996). The year 1999 saw her land her first big role as Lindsay Weir on the show Freaks and Geeks. The series won her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for an Comedy Series. She played Lindsay Weir, a decathlete student at the University of California.

Lily James (born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson on the 5th of April 1989) is an English actress from the UK. Her first acting experience began by appearing on Just William in 2010, an British TV show. Cinderella was her breakout part after her role as Lady Rose MacClare, in Downton Abbey's period drama (2012-2015). James went onto portray Countess Natasha Rostova, in the TV version of War & Peace, in 2016. She also appeared in a number of films. They include the action movie Baby Driver (2017) and the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018 and 2021) and musicals Mamma Mia! We're Going Again (2019) and Yesterday (2018). Her portrayal of Pamela Anderson in the biographical show Pam & Tommy (2022) earned her nominations for a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award.
